BAM volunteers needed.

O.k. so we have the cleaning crew situated and I'm letting the car show take care of itself.

So I need...

DJ
Need a PA, a microphone and an iPod. You'll be in charge of running that and having a decent playlist... or a pandora set up where the channel can be changed every so often.

Parking
1. Cliff (Boardaholic)
2. Justin (Bluwrxwagon)
3. XxSti05xX
4. Steven@Coach

Security.
1. runboyrun
2. Bluwrxwagon
3. ONEMMAFIGHTER (you still in on this man?)
4. A couple folks that you will not know are my security... so no stealing isht.

What will be required of you... show up early. Help me make sure that car show cars make it to the car show area, help the food trucks and vendors get settled where they're supposed to be. I figure I need my parking crew there by 10:15.

Cash takers...
1. Head person taking money for the gate fee.
2. A helper to take money for the gate fee.

If you want to add 1-2 more people that's fine. That way one person isn't stuck sitting there all day long. Basically you sit there and you take money. You'll have a list of prepays. They'll come up and get their wrist bands and a raffle ticket. Otherwise they come up and pay to get in. I'll give you a roll of raffle tickets to sell.. $1 a piece.

I need trust worthy people as this is a charity event and if I find out someone is stealing from the community I'll make damn sure everyone knows who you are on EVERY auto forum there is... period. I'm known in more than just the subaru world. If you can come up with a cash box that would be rad. I'm gonna try and get one but I don't currently have one.

Raffle ticket sellers.
1. norcalbmxer4u
2. xhengmanx

Merch.
1. BrendanTheGreat
2. y0ungsubi3
3.

Your job is to make sure people get what they paid for and only what they paid for. If someone says... but I paid this blah blah and it's not on the form. You send them to me.

Second job is to sell the extras. There will be people looking for them. Those will be separated from the pre-orders.

Volunteers will get the limited edition shirt and hoodie at a reduced price. Volunteer heads... I'll try and get them to you free as I'm gonna lean on you guys for help the day of.

Throw your names up here and I'll add folks according to me heads and who I know, talk to, volunteers, etc.

Parking is really just for in the morning.

I want guys there to help me keep the vendors area clear and get vendors set up. Keep the car show area clear and get the car show set up.

Everyone else... parking is a free for all. First come first serve. We'll do the best we can to keep non subaru's away from the front but no guarantees. It's a public park.

Only draw back is you'll miss the MAJOR caravan out of milpitas. You could caravan there but then you need to bounce a solid half hour before everyone else to ensure you get up there to help. I'll be there around 9am. Test run on Sat.

You know I'm getting there early. So I'll help with some of the early set up and making sure the spots are clear for the vendors and food trucks.

If anybody has any big folding tables we could use that would come in handy as well.

Justin, how about you & me tackle this? A few weeks back, I had already told Ray that I'm game for early help.

Or I could take lead, so that you'd be free throughout the day to be help take on any last-minute, on-the-fly stuff that I'm sure will come up. That way Ray & the other major organizers aren't tugged into so many directions.

How do you feel about walking around with a roll of raffle tickets? Figure you've been around. I can trust you with cash. Unless of course you want to take turns at one of the tables?

I can valunteer from the merch booth, not many people on this forum know me too well besides some folk in the mount madonna thread, however a lot of people can vouch for me (Elvis from stance nation, jesse from vex ect..). However I'd like at least an hour to walk around the show and get some coverage for my website (Third World Society). Let me know!
