Jokes aside, it happened last year, what is to say it won't happen again? Needs to be some kind of control put in place to keep people away from cars and/or a ban on jokes/pranks/etc... so no one has a reason to be near the cars.
The fact of it is, someone out there had it out for someone else, and that person almost paid with their engine for it.

We've always had a few random ricers and antagonizes show up and roll thru reving an engine or whatever. Word gets out and ppl show up. Doesnt mean it was one of the "dickbutters" or anyone involved with iclub.
Harmless practical jokes are one thing, messing with the mechanics of a car is something completely different and SHOULD NOT be done. Out of the last 6 years ive gone, that was the first time something like that has happened as far as I can recall, and yes one of the particular ppl have been to a handful of those BAMs as well. Dont place blame on someone just because you dont agree/like them.

afaik, no one knows who did it (other than whoever did it). We dont even know if it was someone involved with iclub. Have you ever been to bam before? We get tons of random ppl who walk thru and look at all the cars. Its still a state park and other outsiders still show up the same day.
