I know from experience, it only takes 1 to watch all the hard work go to waste. The comradarie in the Subaru community is like no other that I have experienced.
Looking forward to this again in 2015.
You hit on something huge here. The community. BAM is a very special meet.

It's essentially an i-club meet. And essentially a bay area (greater bay area) and a few SoCal folks. And look how many freaking people were there.

But what makes this event so sick is the vibe. We do this for charity and for the sake of the community. We have the best vendors you could ever ask for. They step up every year and pay money to make this event happen. And they do it at a loss. Very few of them make any money the day of. It does help them get the good will in the community word out there and it's great for newer folks like Aggressive Performance to get their name out there. Want to see how amazing our vendors are... here's just a few things off the top of my head.

Built short block from DB Tuned. Over $3k for sure.
Clutch. Tunes. Maintenance from GST. Over $2k. Plus 10% discounts with the raffle tickets.
3 tunes and an AP from EQ Tuning. That's over $2k.
Detail Maniac dropped around $2k in the raffle.
Snail dropped $1500 in tunes.
Aggressive Performance hooked us up with a GoPro.
Speed Element through in some lug nuts, maintenance and killer swag.
Maida Subaru dropped like $500 in goodies on us.
The Kartboy/Huck oil caps. 20 ever made.
Wheeldude hit us with a full set of wheels. That's as much as a grand depending on what you pick.

I don't hold back on building our raffle and the vendors don't either. They come through HUGE.

We have the best team you could ask for... seriously... do you realize that over 100 people got fed in under 12 minutes... That's freakin insane. The cooks killed it.

The shirt guys were there ALL freakin day. Letting me wander around and keep folks happy. All freakin day. I need to apologize to you both. I should have sat down for an hour and let you guys take in more of the event.

Heedz.... dude killed it in the parking lot with his guys. I had to give him very very little input and he got everything done right.

Raffle guys.... dude.... you guys murdered it... again.

Gagan... seriously dude. Just dealing with the park was amazing. But you did so much more. I'm so glad you had the faith in what I was trying to get done that you stepped in so hard.

Jamison... trophies... dope... again.

The car show was killer and we had less *****ing and moaning this year so we're moving in the right direction.

The team was flat out amazing.

Attendees. You bring your families. Your dogs. Most of you behaved yourself. I kid you not... I could have put all the trash that was left after you guys left in my pockets. Except for the tools that left the beer bottles. Blue Moon. Next time throw it in the damned trash. The park folks not only saw it but they picked it up and kept it. I'm sure we'll hear about that one... thanks. And the few morons that flew down the road... you know who you are. No one was impressed... no one.

The rest of you. I freaking love you guys.

This event is so special and so amazing because of the unique combination that we work really hard to put together. It's for the community... period.

I'm grateful for all of you. I can take very very little credit for how this year went down. I just picked up what Daniel started and handed it off to the best crew out there.

Sux abt the minor but blatant littering and numbskull ricer flyby's.

The vibe is well worth the bit of effort I can contribute to making it a fun annual event for the Subie community, in which we get awesome vendor support. And it's done to give to a worthy cause. Count me stoked every year!

Notice that grass is brown.... we spread all that ice around on the grass. It was that or toss it. BAM is a green event! Share the love.

Side note... You guys totally pussed out. Had I known you'd be so gentle I woulda got naked. Seriously. I was expecting full bags of ice coming at me.

I agree the vibe is awesome. It reminds me of the days when I was modding VW's in SoCal back in the late 80's ( don't hate - I was stationed there and had a '69 Karmann Ghia). The scene was real laid back and everyone was helpful and supportive. In the nearly 30 years since then I've owned 7 different makes of vehicles and the i-club community reminds me of back then. Almost everyone I've met is unpretentious and genuine. Of course there will be outliers but that happens in every group so I ignore those.

Now that my son is old enough to drive it's good to have i-club as a model to show a positive car community and to leverage the experience from others.

Thanks again everyone for a wonderful experience and I look forward to the next BAM (and Sundays at Philz)

The fact that I won a tune was really great for me considering that I am almost ready and what was stopping me was actually $1000 for parts/tune and this really helped me a lot considering I put other things ahead of my car like family and what not. The only thing I really personally wanted was a the Huck Gee oil cap and I got it and I am so happy I was able to get one. I have been wanting on ever since my first subie in 2012. Like I said earlier, if I dont need something, I want someone else to have it. In example like the Go Pro. I already have one but it was the first version which I am actually giving away so I can have fun with this one. I have yet to email Aggresive Performance a picture of it but I will do it when I get free time later this evening. I had a really good time at BAM and I know that I will continue to donate to any charity that is chosen because I prefer to give my money towards a good cause.
You're a good dude and you're definitely capturing the heart of the event. It's awesome to know that there are people out there with this thought process.

I appreciate the gesture from you Sac guys to help me out. And I'm glad you won some things you can use.

I was hoping Cliff would win the GoPro but I'm glad you'll enjoy it. Aggressive was very generous doing that for us. They came on as a vendor even though they knew they couldn't really set anything up. Then they drove all the way out to drop off the gopro. They asked me what I wanted for the raffle. I said GoPro... they made it happen. That's freakin awesome. Many of our vendors did that. They stepped up big time.

Seriously... seeing the way the raffle went down this year and the way people treated each other made me incredibly happy.

We had a few hiccups but that's to be expected with that many people. Those people usually go away or figure out that's not what we're about and grow up.

Thanks again for being so rad. Congrats on the wins. The charity is grateful for your massive contribution.

Who would I have to take to about my prize won in the raffle? I was told it was a tune and when I opened it up it says full oil change? Am I just stick with the oil change or can I get what I was told I was getting? All the envelopes said eq Tuning on them so I know there was no guaranteed way to know what was in each envelope but when I heard I won a tune and given an oil change instead just curious if I could ever possibly get the tune that I thought I won
