i got mine tinted yesterday at speedzone, i paid $195 out the door at Speedzone in SF. i got 20 % all the way around and im really happy with the way it looks.

yeah I have a guy that does tint here if your in the northbay but if your closer to Vince he does great work and is very well priced

yep vincent at omega tintwerks is the guy to goto. he does great work. i paid $165 for 5 windows on my sedan.

Obviously he's a Gee. I called today and he's booked up. The earliest I can get my car in there is the 22nd. I'm lucky my fiance works about 2 min. from there.

But hey...the way I look at it...it's a $10 ticket and will cost you about $70 to redo. I like having it...its worth an $100 risk....figure if I only get popped once every couple years who cares. Just like I run with no front plates. Got nailed once in 6 years.

$70 was about what I paid 4 years ago for front tint and no plate. I just got popped about a month ago for the same and the fine was about $170. CA is hurting for cash.

Don't tint the front windows!!! I got pulled over 3 times in less than a year and I finally took them off. Its not worth the hassle with the cops.

35% front 20% back...I think the subaru front windows has a little bit of tint from the factory already...more like UV protection

ahhh, i kept my fronts a lil safe . . . i got 50% in the front the 35% in the back

That's how I did my WRX. It leaves some doubt as to if the front windows are tinted if you do the rears darker. I've had tinted front sides on the last 4 cars (since '99) and even had my windshield tinted on one. I think it must have a lot to do with where/how you drive. Never had a problem. Anyway, some tint shops will pull your fronts free if you show them your ticket.
