The road to Kirkwood, highway 88, is a 2 lane curvy road. It closes often during storms for avalanche control. So when it is storming going to Kirkwood can be a pain. I don't have a Tahoe card because I have a season pass to Kirkwood.

If we want to be on the mountain when it opens, then we need to leave Pleasonton/Dublin area by 5:30am. We can either meet at the Stoneridge mall or the Hacienda crossings (where the Imax theatre is). Probably the Hacienda crossing would be easier to find and the people coming up 580 could stay on 580.
For anybody that doesn't make it there by that time, or can't for other reasons. We can meet on the mountain somewhere. Either by a lift. Or we can meet for lunch in one of the lodges. Let me know what's easier.

Hacienda Crossing is fine for me, don't mind a little back tracking.
edit: Who's going that doesn't have a season pass? If there are three more people I can get one of those four packs from Costco.
