BAIC! I need your help!
I have to drive from Windsor Ca, to Modesto Ca tomorrow to meet with a client.
Windsor is northbay.. about 60 miles north of SF..
I want to avoid as much traffic as I can.. and google maps is telling me to take 101 south to 580 e, to i-5 north to the 120 to the 99 south...
is this the best route? also it is without traffic a 2.5 hour drive, so when should i leave to avoid the most traffic? I want to get out there pretty damn early so i can be back here by 2pm latest.. the meeting with my client shouldn't take more than an hour-ish.
any advice on route to take/time to leave would be VERY appreciated!!!

Windsor to Modesto?
I'd take 101 to 116, Lakeville Hwy. to 37, then 37 to 80. Jump on 80 to Fairfield, and drop down the 12 to the 5 in Stockton. Take Hwy 5 to the 4 (East) which connects you to the 99, then drive south on the 99 into Modesto.
