We should have a scramble and an individual one so those who shot in the 70's can have some friendly competition.

1. what area do you guys want to golf (north bay, south bay, east bay, etc)?

2. what type of tournament do you prefer (scramble, best ball, etc)?

3. are you willing to pay additional money towards a prize at the end for the winner/winning team?

4. what month (july, august, or september)? i dont know if we can get a huge tournament in time for june, but we'll see

5. what else am i missing?

My 2¢

1. Wherever we can get a deal at is where we should go I can look ask around in the North Bay since some places have some decent deals if you have 10+ people.

2. I say we play Best Ball so if the better players want to do an individual mini tourney they will be able to.

3. We should have people add in for a prize, enough to cover green fees for the winning team and could have the better players to add in money for individual scores so the casual golfer doesn't get screwed

4. I saw we do it in August so people have plenty of time to plan things around it.

5. We should have people include their average score when they sign up so we don't have an all star team shooting -5 and another team shooting 100+

Hopefully people will be honest though but people do tend to think they are better than they normally are.

I'll be the first to say I suck. Getting out and playing a round with a bunch of peeps, with similar interests and having a good time is worth the greens fee. I don't take it too seriously.

I sawk at golf..but Im willing to participate..I have NEVER played on a real course..only the driving range...so dont expect too much, or the ball to go straight...expect the ball to fly to the right side and expect me to stand with a baseball stance and prentend Im Barry Bonds....Im soo IN!
