I'd be happy to help, however I'm NOT a good wrencher. If someone else w/ skills wants to tag along I'm willing to make the drive in my car and help out however I can.r

I'm unemployed atm so my schedule is pretty open...

Count me in. Do you have a truck or something w/ a lotta room for all the parts? I can bring my 05 Wagon but that's not going to hold that much with 3 ppl+ tools.

I have decent metric/SAE set and a small steel lever jack & 2 stands. No Impact tho.

I wish I could help out Eric, but I can only be there in spirit. Best of luck my friend.

BUMP for you Eric. If I was not recovering from my right knee operation I just had a few days ago I would totally be there lending a hand. Hope you get everything you need taken care of, and also I will keep praying for your leg to do better. Surgery is nice to be able to have but man it hurts like hell afterwards! I am going through Oxy's like they were candy Only way to kill the pain, anyways good luck and be safe out there Eric

wouldnt it be easier to buy the car back off insurance, get it towed and tear it down locally? I'd help if it was local. Good luck!

towing it back to the bay area i would imagine would be a large bill.

Good luck tomorrow getting all taken care of Eric. Did you end up getting those wheels?

I have an electric impact. It isn't that powerful or anything, but you can certainly use it.
