BAIC: Daios needs help (my accident update)
Some of you heard about my accident from last August where I had a tire blew out and basically got hit by a car while trying to change my tire.

Update on my situation is that I already got surgery on my leg but I still can't walk correctly and can barely walk. I might have to go in for another surgery if my leg does not improve, but I will find out later on.
Anyways, 21 weeks and 1 day after my accident the highway patrol finally released my car from the impound and the body shop in reno started to take the car apart and check for repairs. After taking a better look at the car in detail, they found it to be a total loss.
The chassis/frame was found bent and somewhere theres a tear under the car.
Now I would have to go back up to reno and relpace as much parts back to stock since I want to get as many parts back before the car goes to subaru graveyard. The help I would need is someone to come up with me Wednesday morning on the 28th and help me put my car back to stock form. Possibly even do a suspension swap if possible.
As of right now, my parts are NOT FOR SALE! I plan to keep them for a while just in case if I get another GC or another subaru. With that being said, I'm also on the look out for another car. So if anyone finds another MY00-01 RS or MY02 WRX let me know.

Hey Eric, glad you are able to get access to your car finally. That really sucks to hear that the car became a total loss. I vote for you getting another 2.5RS and transfering all your favorite parts onto it from your old car. 
In order to help you look for a new car tho, it would be nice if you told us what body style - i.e. coupe/wagon/sedan, the transmission setup - i.e. 5spd, 6spd, auto that you prefer and also your top color preferences!
For example a year ago Charlie L. told people that he wanted and RS coupe in blue or white so I remember trying to help him find an RS for sale.

Hope you get all your parts off your car.. Sorry things are going the way they are and i sure hope you find a nice replacement. In the end thankfully you survived this and many wishes for your leg to get better. Cars can be replace but "we" can't. Keep your chin up though Eric!!

Sorry to hear it became a total loss Eric, but I'm sure you'll fine another one. Also I hope your leg will make a full recovery. I would have been down to go with you but I'm already taking off work on the 30th and I just took a whole week off at the end of December, not to mention the 28th is my bday.

my first preference is another 00-01 rs in any color. coupe or sedan, 5sp, pref no mod or minimal mods. 2nd choice if the price is right: 02 wrx any color sedan or wagon, 5sp. but top pref color is brp or aspen white.

It's good to hear that you're finally getting your car back, but unfortunate that it's done for. I'd like to help you too if it weren't for classes. Good luck in finding another GC though.
