BAIC CHP Sightings
Hey Everyone,
I made this thread so that BAIC members can update CHP locations daily. There are common speed traps in the Bay Area as well as days that CHP decides to be sneaky, so please post your sightings here. I hope that many members will contribute to the thread so that the community can better avoid negative CHP encounters.
This idea came to me after passing some CHP that were positioned in uncommon spots.
Please format your response like so:
Date/Time-
Freeway/Highway name AND Direction
CHP location (Exit/onramp Name or general area if unknown)
I am open to suggestions on formatting the responses. My goal is for the responses to be standardized so that they are easy to decipher. Any other suggestions are welcome.

June 20th
I-80 West between Vacaville and Cordelia ~8:30pm
1st - CHP was parked on the side of the road between Lagoon Valley and North Texas clocking cars.
2nd - CHP was parked on the Airbase Parkway/Waterman on ramp clocking cars.
3rd - CHP passed me then parked on the side of the road immediately following the 680 split.
*3 CHP in roughly 15 miles*

Chp lidaring at 430am aka just now at Millbrae Ave Onramp 280N.
Couple nights ago there was one on the Bunker Hill Overpass looking at Southbound traffic on 280.
An officer has been posting on the 92E to 280S onramp daily, and usually there will be one sitting behind the pedestrian walkway right afterwards near the 92W to 280S.

Yeah there's always a chp on 280n/s from 380-92 areas..
In the east bay there's usually chp posted by san mateo bridge at the ends of the bridge and there's usually one on 580 near estudillo/dutton (san leandro)

I dont speed during the day so it's not something I need to worry about, but i did see one one 101 and 92 on the way to work today, it's aspot thy like to sit at all the time!

theres always cops hiding under the over passes between automall and alverado niles on 880 north and south. sometimes you can see them and sometimes you cant. i see atleast 2 a day at all times.

85 is filled with them. Buddy's coworker got a ticket every other week lol. For doing 70 too

CHP is currently conducting street racing enforcement on Stewarts Point-Skaggs Springs Rd. and Dry Creek Road through the evening.
