It happened this morning... I was behind this guy in a beat up 91 Toyota mini truck. He stopped at the stop sign, then went in to the intersection. He had to merge into the lane. I stopped, looked back, no one was there, started to go, and when i look back, he had stopped half way into the intersection. He got scared cus this bus was like 400 yards away. I tried to get out of the way, but i still hit him. I'll have my baby back in about a month.

i haven't called them yet.. they will prob say it was my fault, because i rear ended him, but i have pics of the accident and where it happened.

 

I almost did the exact same thing in SF last week. I Stopped about 2" off his bumper. This guy had no signal or brake lights though.

 

danm that happend 2 me b 4 when i had my eclipse. I was going on the onramp casually exalerating till this hoopty with no brake lights did a full stop just cuz a car was like 5,000,000,000 yards away ( danm grandma drivers) well n e ways there was a dude behind me tailgating me, So when i came to my complete stop you can guess wut happend next. Well for you slow folks i got rear ended and ya now im driving a WRX so i guess u can say at the end of this story i lived happily ever after.....

I have been there. Some damn Expedition freaked out at a yield sign. Stops, looks, starts going. I look over and start going and wham. She didn't go after all. Some stupid woman driver who freaked out because there was a car coming from a mile away when the light changed red so he couldn't go anyway. Insurance said it was my fault.
