Omg, that really sucks to hear Ian... grrr, too many douchebags on the road. I feel your pain from personal experience. This incident should NOT be considered a hit and run, because the damage was caused by "normal" road debris (normal for California).

Not worth it for insurance if you have a deductible to pay, and even if you actually caught the guy in the benz, he/she would probably just laugh at you. Time to suck it up and use some touch-up paint, or go rally style.

dude ian. i feel your pain. i have had that happen to me on the 60w coming from moreno valley where a vette decided to pass me on the unpaved shoulder on the highway.

Can you really buy Mercedes paint? I thought their paint is the same as everyone else, they just use a different process and/or more coats?
