Indeed people cannot drive during the rain. There was a moderate drizzle, enough to wet the oil on the road, and ofcourse i'm only doin 60 or so max on 17 since i'm on re070's and i'm sick of getting tickets, when all of a sudden 4 suvs zoom past me doing 80+ on the downhill.

They can't even drive regular cars, let alone suvs that require constant throttle/steering attention to maintain balance......the last suv's driver was on the phone, without a handsfree.

I'm scared for my life and the lives of everyone on 17, especially the officers that are camped in the turnouts, since thats the first thing you're supposed to aim for when you get into trouble, imagine an ML slamming into a CV doing 80 down the hill.

Eh, found out today my MX's are not THAT great in the rain (No, nothing bad happened, but the car did slide a bit on turns in the rather wet storm we had this afternoon...)

I know what you mean. The drivers I work w/ at UPS were just telling me how stupid drivers were cutting them off in the rain coming down I80. How dumb could you get cutting off a big rig pulling 2 cargo trailiers

i constatly see atleast 5 suv's a week crashing on the auto mall off ramp in fremont. they fly off the freeway, and oversteer, and end up in the center divider. hopefully more of them will crash, and not into us. thumbs up for natural selection!( atleast when its removing suv's from the road)
