I JUST tried this today with my iPod and IMO the sound quality sucks. I had the iPod turned to 1/2 volume and then set my deck at 10. You can hear the hissing sound that tapes make while they are playing and it took away all my bass and highs. After that I played a CD and it sounded 100% better. I'm probably gonna return the tape deck adaptor today.

my friend has one and I think once you start playing a playlist, in order to play a different list you need to unplug/plug it back in.
... at least that's what he did everytime he played a new playlist!

yup.. i'm running a pioneer deck with aux in. i have my ipod plugged in to via a belkin power/audio cord. sounds just as good as CD.
