The Auto-X thing tired me out... I loved getting a chance to drive my car against others in such an enviroment but the whole waiting 5-8 hours just to get 2-3 one min runs wore me out after a while, so I stopped going and switched to track days instead. I'm not saying that track driving is better than Auto-X, both are car related but very different from each other. Auto-X has def made me a better driver for everyday stuff... Track days however are like Auto-X that is less intense but 500x longer so you get to enjoy the driving and push to the limit until your body starts to hurt, lol.
I think every driver should be required to do 5 AutoX events (2 in the rain), as well as two track days, one in the rain and one in the dry. I bet accidents would decrease by ten fold... The reason is not because people will be better drivers, but because a lot of people would be denied their drivers licenses for not passing the Auto-X events (you have to be able to safely navigate the course, meet a certain time and hit NOTHING). I doubt 40% of our population would fail every damn time, They should also make a drivers lic cost way more... Like $1,000 or something and make fines for driving without a lic waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more brutal. It'd get rid of so many drivers... Just imagine? we can all wish....

PS: I wonder how my car would handle if I mounted a Goalkeeper or Phalanx on top? I'd def get rid of the competition, lol.

EDIT: That's 4,200 20mm exploding rounds per min! It shoots almost a solid stream of bullets. 20mm doesn't sound large, but lets compare a 20mm round and a 9mm round. See the diff? Also remember that they explode on impact, lol.
Dammit, I can't find a pic comparing the two, but here's .50 cal VS 9mm (compare the 50 cal on the very left to the 9mm on the very right, then imagine the .50 cal round being a lot smaller than the 20mm and it's HE (High explosive round) @ 4,200 rounds a min! It's actually tuned down and can fire faster but 4,200 was chosen to conserve ammo, )

Besides the one today, the next event is next week with AAS in Marina; they'll have an event on both Saturday and Sunday.
You can find event info for most of the autox groups here: http://sfr-solo.org/solo2/cgi-bin/schedaction.cgi?autox&where=all&Next_three_months

Nice autocross today. There was a much bigger turnout of Subies than the previous time at Great America!
I didn't talk to some of you guys much (I apologize for that), but it's nice to see more Subarus competing!

^ There are multiple autox groups in the bay area that use the parking lot at Great America and the airfield in Marina. All of the groups have different schedules, so you'll have to look that up.
I do know that AAS has events in Marina this coming Saturday and Sunday.

Hhahaha, It was actually a mistake that I didn't notice that I actually posted something that I had thought I deleted... All of the gun stuff was removed but I figured that it was done since no one commented, lol. I must have been drunk, wtf was I thinking!?
