For those who have not been there, Marina is awesome! It's a huge concrete paddock, one of the best sites we have available.

 

I never even checked the actual day. Thanks for posting that Chris. I wouldn't have known it was on Saturday.

 

Thanks Chris! Yep, 0'dark-thirty is gonna come pretty early next Saturday morning

Should be sweet though, I've always liked running at Marina! And the drive down/back on Hwy 17 and Hwy 1 is usually pretty cool

 

I'll be there. Sirfrankwilliams and I both grew up in Monterey. I will be heading down on friday.

 

For once, it won't be an early morning.

 

I'm gonna have to see what Friday night brings. I don't have the self discipline required to get out of bed if its dark 'n rainy. Even last Sunday was a struggle

At least DS is w2r4. If I don't bother with the course walk, I could probably leave home around 7:30 and make it ok...

 

I had to get up @ 6:15 for the last event, 7:30 should be a breeze.

On the other hand, if you want to sleep in and hand over some more points...

OK guys...

Here's the deal. This is our first time back to Marina since 9/11. We are going to be sharing the entrance with a Karting club, and the FAA and other officials are going to be looking at us VERY carefully.

Marina is a great place to run, lets keep everyone on their best behavior so we can continue coming to this wonderful concrete surface...
