AutoX Round 11 Monterey
i'll be there running in group 1 then probably selling raffle tickets. The 10 guest limit has been lifted for the event( not that it was been enforced much) so everyone should come on out and have a good time. Don't forget to buy a raffle ticket!

According the to event info, for this event, participants are encouraged to donate $1 to the charity for each cone/time penalty they get.
Does anyone want to match my donation for each cone that I'll hit? I haven't hit any cones during any of my auto-x events. I did hit a ton of cones at auto-x school, but that was because I was experimenting.
Donation Matches:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

I've seen the videos, those courses are so tight, you can really take lines and the speeds are greatly restricted.
You can't improve much or learn much from courses like that. Also, they are always as Marina, so you never get courses on other types of surfaces/climates.

It was only my 5th AutoX so I'm pretty happy with my runs..I just need to find that last second from somewhere...

Yeah Marina is kinda tight, but there are definitely lines to take. lots of open box areas too, where less experienced people cut through it when really you should take the longest smoothest way around. thats the only reason i have a chance against faster cars, since the speed doesnt change too much, but i wouldnt say learning nothing. most rally stages are 1.5 car widths so there is hardly ever line choice
lol, that was before i knew people running SCCA were required to have that. i always thought people put those on their windshield by choice. then i wondered why? since its pretty expensive and never have the tires i want. i have to wait a week to get mine from floriduh which sucks.
no offense meant i was just joking
