Who's going to Marina Airport in Monterey for Round 11 of the SCCA Solo season?

I'm in STX which runs first so to get there I'm gonna have to be leaving the house at 5.00am!!! Not sure if I can make that.

 

I am probably going to go. Anyone wanna caravan out of Fremont. We should hella make plans for something. Work on bring food, drinks, canopy, etc.

 

when is this me and like 9 other people are down from here in watsonville which is like 20 minutes from monterey

 

Marina Airport.

Everyone should remember that you'll need to be a SCCA member or have an SCCA member sponsor you if you are planning to auto-x.

If you are not planning to Auto-X, you guys should come anyways and keep me company.

And probably a good idea to bring lots of water and sunscreen.

Skipping Marina again. Just too far and too much on the gas for me.
Glen, it's not that bad. I've done it several times, early rungroup. Besides, it's good to get there early to get a good pit area. Marina crowds up pretty good, if it's still the same as before,parking wise.

Damn Rob, I was hoping STX would be a big group again so it doesn't look so bad when I get my *** kicked!

I think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and set my alarm clock for early, I really need the seat time to bring my times down.

 

Well... I'll be running in STX. I still have a ways to go before I am anywhere near competitive. Need to close a huge gap. Yeah...

 

If you stick to STX-N and show up for the remainder of this season's events you will win the STX-N title....unless Greg comes out of retirement to challenge

 

Haha. I dunno. Technially, the CF hood should jump me to F-prepped or something. I am definitely planning on attending the remainder of the events though. Just need to place 1st in three events and yeah. The title will be all mine. Blahahahaha.

Yeah, go for it.Seat time is always good. Have you ever run Marina ? I love it (except for the distance). Some courses have some good sweepers and straights.
