Happy Auto-x'ing!!
I won't be around for this event. Well, I might come and hang out in the morning, but I have an appointment in the afternoon in Palo Alto that day.

Results are up. my 56.2 in Gilbert's car was 4th fastest time of the day, my first top ten overall finish ever!
of course, it was 1 second off Gilbert's top time of day of 55.2
I also got a 58.5 in my own car on my all season tires. they're only 205mm wide. It was a good run nevertheless nearly would've clipped for the win in STX. Karlton ran a sweet 56.5 for the win in STU.

Nice driving, Gagan!
It's obvious from my results I never figured out the clean line. Out of 6 runs total, 3 runs had spins (including two spins on my first run in the Acura!) and one more was a DNF.
Good news is the Civic project car is showing some definite promise...we'll know more after Oakland this Sunday

Hahah thanks Gagan, but I shoulda have gone much faster. But with a DNF, and a spin I had to slow down to get a clean run in. You and Gilbert were hauling though! I was working that back "straight" coming out of the back sweeper. Scared the crap out of me everytime you guys hit the rev limiter hahaha. BTW Bryan has his pics up for groups 5+6: http://www.pbase.com/bryanh/ax120207&page=1

I think at the really high speed we both twitched a wheel a little going through that "box" but we really didn't need to, just visually it played with your mind. In my own car I was going straight through there, but I wasn't going as fast as I was in Gilbert's car.
It was a great course, one that would be great to drive this course at Atwater for once.
