just wondering about the sound control in the bay? are the locations pretty strict about db readings?

Yup it's an indexed class. SM, SM2 and all the street prepared classes on street tires with treadwear of 140 or higher go into T2. Our local sound limit is 95db@100ft, but the quieter the better. Most of our cars here try to be around 95db@50ft or below

oh that should be no problem at all, over here is 93db@50ft. i think im at about 80@50ft average. just wondering incase i do the ewg, which i decided not to go with.

I fail to see how it will be an advantage unless we are racing in a middle of a frozen lake I just need to finish beating on these tires so I can justify a new set pronto for my new rims
