$35 + $15 temp. weekend membership.

Come out to Round 7 in Oakland. Sign up and run the event. If you like it and you think you'll be doing 4 or 5 events, you should then sign up for an annual. The $15 you spent toward your the temp membership can be used toward your annual membership.

pads, fluid, lines, and a bracket for the master cylinder will do wonders. I even track this setup cause my car doesn't make much power, I don't need such heavy brakes for the race track. It's plenty for autox, even on my 182,000 mile brake master cylinder and booster (**** is worn!).
Are the master cylinder bracket thing legal in STX? And as for fitting, can I use a WRX one on the L?

I don't know if its legal or not, I've had it on my car for over 6 years. so long that it's not effective anymore cause my master cylinder and booster are damn worn out now.

What exactly does the master cylinder do and how is it beneficial?

stops the master cylinder from moving, making the pedal stiffness increase.

AutoX saves me modding money...I really want a bigger turbo etc.. but don't want to be bumped into street mod.

If it wasn't for AutoX I would definately have upgraded and be running meth, and that would probably lead to a new motor and tranny sooner rather than later..

People who want to run stock just need a spare set of rims and some slicks...it always amuses me that the stock class drivers can run a slick (or damn near slick anyways), where STX/STU drivers need to run a street tire...

so even though i agree with you, we're talking about 1600 for rims and tires. and will probably wear out the brakes fairly quickly. so what i said before is not entirely wrong.

It was my first autox. I think I did good for my first event and car being pretty much stock. First run was 50.9 2nd run was 50.7..then last run 49.4 with no cones or dnf on all runs. I kept on coming into a corner way too fast, haha.
I had fun though, def come out again.
