Ask stealthrex. I would like a little more practice, though. Maybe a few more hours and I can roll over speed bumps and stuff.

I wouldn't let you learn on my RS cause I don't think you'd want to pay for a brand new ACT clutch... actually I know you wouldn't lol. Plus even if you did learning an awd w/ ACT clutch would give you a very hard time.

However... I may be willing to let you learn on my Stanza, its fwd and has a stock clutch, suuuper easy to drive. But then again you'll still want to learn on awd eventually. I learned on 2 awd cars, '90 Legacy and '03 WRX then smoothed everything out once I got my RS and was daily driving it. I think if you learn on awd it will make driving fwd and rwd MT cars a walk in the park, at least thats how it was for me.

I wouldn't let you on my car because I have so much torque, learning on my clutch would be HORRIBLE for it lol. :| I cringe just thinking about it.

hey hey sweet first time anyone has ever mentioned my name!! wow, i feel like somebody now!

He did O-K (no offense kev). In my defense for letting him learn on my car, I had no idea he didnt know how to drive a stick. It was only after we got back did he say oh btw I dont know how to drive a stick very well.

Honestly,

a little bit more time with it and he would be just fine. So, question is, would I let him learn on my car?? Prob. not (again no offense kev lol).

Clutch is goin bad anyways, and I don't need anything to put it out of its misery when I don't have enough money to replace it with. lol

You could practice on my civic... there might be 3 people in this world, other than myself, that I would trust driving the Subie.

Dude, it's easy... I learned by myself (had someone teach me the concept beforehand), got in, 30mins later, I was good to go... took a few days to get used to it, but the 30mins I had it down to a science... Very easy to learn... The biggest factor that is holding you back is your fear of learning to drive it... Let that fear go and realize it's simple as hell and you're good.

I let my fiance try to learn in mine... i thought we hit something, that's how hard the car lurched... and she did that more than once. I'm really hoping that doesn't cause issues down the line. I'm also thinking maybe I should get a GC that needs work or something along those lines for her to learn in.
