Yeah When I was trying to teach my girlfriend how to drive a stick on my car I cringing. never again would i teach someone on my car. I taught a guy how to drive a mt at work. Here is a reason why you should watch your car is you get work done to it. my former manager hired a guy who didn't know how to drive stick, she said "you matter well learn on someone else's car" ....... 
i work at an auto shop.
so that being said. hey darkonion you should get a job at a auto shop. you can learn on customers cars lol
