AUDT: Replacement Keys

Hi all.

I kind derped and seemed to have lost my Master key for my Impreza. Anyone have any idea on how I could get a replacement set of keys?? Would I be able to go to the dealership, show proof of ownership, and get a new set? Or is it not that easy?

Thanks in advance...

I think that's it. I had to do it once with a VW and that's all they required. Well and money of course.

Do you have your spare key? When I went to Stevens creek to replace my only key they wouldn't do it even with proof of ownership, they needed the vehicle there.

I think that was cause I needed the key programmed though. If you have an older car they should be able to cut you a spare with the vin and proof of ownership.

I have a single spare key which is the valet key. It is an older car though. No programming required.
