Where do you go to get carne asada fries??

So good... yet so bad...

First time I tried carne asada fries was when Hollandaze exposed me to the place down the street from SubyDude.

My go to place is gone now. XL Grindhouse in Salinas. There's were bomb. I can only hope that over time they go back to more of the old menu and less of the stupid chicken wing stuff they're doing now.

Any Mexican restaurant that also sells fries. I order them at my local bar and just call them French Fry Nachos. I also came up with a Mexican Dip sandwich. Just a torta with a side of enchilada sauce for dipping like a French Dip.

In Davis, there's a tacqueria (Tacqueria Davis) that has a "Macho Burrito." It's a burrito with ground beef and potatoes on the inside, and carnitas and all the usual burrito ingredients on top. Soooooo good!
