I don't think your an *******.
However, the hard truth is that us "real" business with a building, registered with the BAR, have real business insurance, etc can not compete with some doofus sitting in his parent's basement that drop ships parts, carries no inventory, has no overhead, pays their "techs" minimum wage, etc.
I can't tell you the number of fellow i-clubbers that call me for technical support for an item that they purchased from eBay, the interweb, or even another i-club vendor.
And why do they call me?
Because the seller refuses to help them; won't answer the phone, return emails, or flat out tells them to **** off.
Yes, there are "vendors" here on i-club that are not "real" businesses in the eyes of the State; not BAR registered, no sales tax, not "brick & mortar"
There are vendors that, for whatever reason, choose to ***** out parts/services, thinking that's how a business is ran and can survive.
Yes, I love what I do; making customers happy doing what I do.
But I gotta make money.
To pay rent, insurance, hazmat disposal, BAR registration, house payment, car insurance, kids, etc
I realize money is tight for most people.
I also firmly believe that you seldom get great service at **** low prices.

Well, I think I'll ignore this thread for the rest of the day and get on with my birthday

oh, you'll like this Paul. I had a lady ask if we had samples of 39 cent dog treats
I'm sure a company like lic would understand you wanting to do the work yourself if you can't afford to pay them, i did the brakes on my daily driver because it had to be done then and I was strapped for cash (autozone pads/rotors).
That being said I think its always good to support your local company and understand they have families and need to eat too and you can't just constantly rape them for advice and knowledge, and then go order your parts for 10-15 dollar less somewhere online thats the cheapest possible price.
---That would make you a dickhole.
