My fav traffic countermeasure is a portable air-horn. You can get them at Pep-Boys and they seriously get people's attention. Good stuff. Saved a couple of my cars on a few occasions.

best thing to do when you run in to drivers like that is just slow down and let them go by obviously hes a jerk and in a big hurry and thinks his car is the fastest on the street,
so let him pass and go run in to someone else. or flip his car off a cliff somewhere.

I had the Supertones on my MR2 spyder and didn't like them too much (they would scare the crap out of me when I would hit them). The ones I got this time are more like a standard horn, with a spiral thingy. They are Hellas but I forgot the name - more like a deeper sound like a GM truck horn. Soooooo much better than the MEEP! Only thing is, since the Justy is such a tiny car, it needs the Supertones.
