What sort of "enter" are we talking?

I believe you can put your car on display at the Autofest basicaly entering in a particular class of the show.Ie. we would all put our vehicles on exposition (backed into parking spaces of course) and everyone can "ohhhh" and "ahhhh" at our bad *** Subies. This is a tremendous ego booster!
Checking the events web site will give registration and class information. If there is no clas for your vehicle , usualy you can make your own with a certain showing of that particular vehicle.

Also , being in show quality isn't realy a necessity , it's about showing our collective group off.The only problem I can see is our having to leave early and miss out on the trophies we will no doubt win. We may have so much fun there that we deciden just to drive to the pizza place and forget the drive and stay for the end of the show!

Option A) COMPETITION: $45.00
This registration allows the vehicle to compete against other vehicles in it's class, for cash and prizes. This entry allows admission for the driver only.

Besides from the usual Best of Show, Best Paint, etc., they have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Trophies for Best Subaru. Yet, below I read: Minimum of 5 Vehicles Pre-Registered to make a Category. Seems to me if we're the only Subaru's in attendance and we registered tro compete, we'd sweep the awards.

Cohlineman, how many Subies there last year?

Option B) DISPLAY ONLY: $25.00
This registration only allows the vehicle to be displayed, and CANNOT compete for cash and prizes. This entry allows admission for the driver only.

So for $25 (which we're already paying for admission) we can be displayed. I'm assuming this means we get to park in the "my car is hot and it's on display" lot as opposed to the "you're just a tourist like the rest" lot.

What's everyone think?

Alright guys, if you don't know how to get to the Chevron on Washington St in Petaluma (assuming you're traveling on 101):

COMING FROM SOUTH
Exit on "Washington Blvd" (3rd exit in Petaluma). Make a right off the ramp and onto Washington. Go straight through the next light (when it's green ) and follow the street for about 10 seconds. On your right hand side you'll see a Chevron station.

COMING FROM NORTH
Exit on "Washington Blvd" (2nd exit in Petaluma). Make a left at the light. Follow the street through two lights and Chevron is on your right.

Now, this isn't very hard, so I don't see how it was so hard to find, but whatever. There is a Deaf Dog right behind the Chevron for any people that wanna grab good coffee/pastry before the drive to Infineon (which is about 10-15 minutes away, tops). And actually, it might be easier/smarter to meet in the parking lot of the Deaf Dog than in the parking lot of Chevron because there will be less traffic traveling through there, which will make it easier to get out in a long line.

Okay, okay, I admit it was more difficult to find than I let on. It wasnt really within eyeshot of the freeway. I actually scoped out Washington St a couple days beforehand so I knew where the Chevron was in advance. And I was still late...

I was just enjoying giving Bushido some grief.

So, I've decided... We are now officially meeting in the parking lot of the Deaf Dog coffee shop, just behind the Chevron on Washington St., which is about 10 seconds East of the 101, in Petaluma, at 8:45 am on Sunday, September 7th, 2003.

So there.

Well, you have stickers, right Bushido? And Hell, infinity5235, you've got an STI. You've already got about 10k in upgrades as far as I'm concerned.

Don't miss the point...Rich, it's a WRX and that is worth displaying! All together in a row now that would be bad ***!We're not talking civics here!
When people ask about the Stock looking cars we say they are sleepers... and when they ask whats inside we say they have the top secret Subaru C.A.M.F. ... and they ask what that is we say ,"That's the Crazy *** Mother F#@%$& driving it!", and in your case , rich that's a Stage 4 Crazy *** Mother F#@%$&.
