Last night Christina (the wife) and i were talking about the seventh in more detail. I let her know that the GUYS were having a get together before the drive that day. To my shock and amazement she asked me "Why aren't you going with them?" I was blown away................. The whole time i hadn't even told her about the raceway event because i was afraid of coming across like a selfish car crazed A-hole.
"Well i don't want to be doing something that'll take all day without knowing that you're being intertained as well. Maybe you could get together with a friend."I said.
" Maybe i'd like to have the day to myself. Don't worry about me, and go have fun with the boyz." I still couln't believe my ears. She didn't care at all if i was gone all day. Maybe that's what happens after 11 years of always being together. Then she finishes it off with. " That would also give me time to make you a great dinner before you get home, since you're not having pizza after your drive."
I can't tell you how much i love that woman.
So i'll meet you guys that morning up in Petaluma so we can drive together out to the raceway.

That rocks. Just when you think you have them all figured out.... Rich glad to have you on board for the whole day. And if it makes you feel any better, I still think you're a selfish car crazed A-hole.
Can't wait to roll our Suby convoy into Auto Fest! Anyone parks nose in and you're fired!

I just did some investigating. Check this:
$25 + $5 processing fee if ticket bought in advance via Ticketmaster = $30
or
$25 - $5 with printout of this flier presented at box office on day of event = $20
I think we'll be buying them at the door.

I thought I might have to just hold out for the drive but Lu said its a go ahead to join you all for the autofest. I went last year and it was fun.
I like Vinster's idea too if it doesn't cost too much to enter our cars.
BTW , Vinster is working on a sweet little project over at Epic Images , I think he should let everyone in on it.From what I've seen it involves a wagon , some sedan fenders and a whole bunch of sweet body work molding which makes me also kick myself in the butt for not remembering that....
EPIC Images now has all the necessary implements and goodies to do custom body kit molding etc. !!!
Isn't that what you were looking for Huck?
You need to go see Jon Pinto and see what he can do for you!Plus take a peek at top secret WRXWAGON project!
While you're there , Waldo can slap you out nsome graphics for those extra HP gains.
I too will take advantage of tickets at the gate , last year I got suckered into buying them on line, all we need to do is get there EARLY.

See you all on the other thread for confirmations on who will go to dinner after the drive and how many in your party.

Oh, and really great to hear you'll also be joining us for the AutoFest! What a day...
So, I'm suggesting a 9am meeting time near a coffee shop in Petaluma somewhere. Everyone cool with 9am? With drive time to and fro, that should give us roughly 4+ hours at the AutoFest.

Man i went to 2 of the three Chevrons that morning. And i think the one you are talking about is in a mall on the corner of Washington. Trust me i drove all over that f-n town and asked were the Chevron on Washinton was and every answer i got sucked. No one in that town that morning could give even half *** directions.
