I love it... "The O'Franken Factor"

O'Riley and his Fox cohorts are such tools. How are they the highest rated newscasters on TV? Was there Jerry Springer fall-out I missed?

That's the whole problem.
You guys act all tough until the bullet is headed your way, remembering life...calling for yo mama. And only then do you reflect on the ways in which peace could have been made.
Come on, even miss America wants peace. Why dosen't the GOP? And they still haven't a nswered the question of what exactly we are doing in Iraq when we have a war to fight on terrorism. Op Iraq Freedom? As if we have nothing better to do.

HAHHAA very well said Ken.

And what you mentions already happened... instead we've returned the favor.

With weapons he got from US, while at the same time the Iraq/Iran war rages on.
And were selling weapons to both sides. Hawks...chicken hawks.

It is a war. If you think some nakked pictures is bad as it gets, you need to read a little more, or watch History channel instead of ESPN.

I don't know, I just don't personally find temperature extreams and sleep depriation to be "torture." When I think torture, I think of beatings and the like. I suppose it may depend on how "extream" these temperatures are, but the lack sleep will cause no permamnent damage. To gain intelligence, you can't coddle these people. I'm not saying this to be pro or anti war, just commenting on my personal view on what torture means. If they were depriving our soldiers of sleep, I wouldn't consider that "torture" either.

I actually have. I thought I had a brain tumor and couldn't sleep for so long (almost three weeks with maybe 6 hours mixed in here or there in the form of one hour naps) that I got the switches for a while, no joke. It was absolutly aweful, and I never want to go though it again, but I don;t cosider it torture. I may stretch and call it very mild torure, but not comparibe to torture in the classic sence.

-Chris

p.s. turned out that the bright spots, flashes, and literally blinding headaches that made me think I had a brain tumor turned out to be migraines and ocular migrains that are genetic and stress induced, not from a tumor. Not that anyone cares

I have! And it's hardly torture... just a major PITA.

It's almost like being completely out of your mind drunk and dehydrated to the point where you have elementary conversations about dogs or cats with someone just as tired. Later you look back on it and wonder what the **** you were talking about and why it seemed so important.

Listen, we can **** and moan all day about what's textbook torture and what's torture for certain religious groups but it's not getting anywhere.

5days for dre to be exact. it started on 0500 on a sunday and ended on a late thurday evening

I swear it happened. Like I said I had some minor naps here or there, but no real sleep over an hour at a time. Does claiming to have incorrectly believed I had a brain tumor, and therefore lost a great deal of sleep seem like something I would make up to support what I think is TRUE torture? Come on now, that's just lame.
