that pretty well summarizes my opinion on the matters, especially Ashcroft, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of the neo-cons that are enabling W.

W himself is just a pathetic burned-out frat boy loser, born with a silver spoon up his nose- the crooks that hijacked our foreign policy and call the shots for him are international criminals of the highest order-

they were supposed to have taken oaths to protect and defend the Constitution, instead they are treating it, and all international laws like as much toilet paper.

This is getting ugly.

Bet you thought it was funny when I was running around this bastard like the red coats were coming. The time is coming for the men to stand up.

^^ Dang. I missed this thread by minutes yesterday

I had an argument with a buddy awhile back about this. Though I think Bush is a complete tool, asking him to step down because of the prison incidents is lame IMO. He is the president, and has to wear a ton of different hats.

I dont want to stoop to the level of certain peoples / parties after Clinton received after hours massages in the White House. Was he slimy? Hell yeah, of course! Should he have been impeached cause he fudged the truth about banging his intern? Come on... presidents have been screwing interns since the dawn of man. Comes with the territory (no pun intended)

Oh, and somebody above mentioned that "alcoholic Sen. Kennedy". Stick to your guns man. Arguments ad hominem are weak sauce

I couldn 't agree more. We should cut off their heads with a dull blade. Or maybe burn them alive, and then hang the bodies from a bridge.

It is a war. If you think some nakked pictures is bad as it gets, you need to read a little more, or watch History channel instead of ESPN.

See that's where you're wrong. Yes my views are somewhat conservative compared to others but i like to keep an open mind with other views. I like a lot of the views the democrats have to offer and a VERY minimal amount of info from the tinfoil hats. I like to think of myself as a rational thinker who says it like it is regardless of party involved. If a democrat was in office and the republicans of this thread wanted him out of office for the Abu Ghraib prison scandal then my opinion would be exactly the same.

This should be in the political forum. It was posted here so people would actually agree with it.

I absolutely agree with your train of thought because it makes me furious when the USA has to abide by a bookfull of war laws which limits the capabilities of our forces tremendously. Meanwhile our brothers are hanging off a bridge burnt to a crisp. At the same time the angel on my other shoulder knows for a fact our forces cannot stoop to that level because we wouldn't be professional.

Contrary to what most of you hear in the media over a bunch of arabs playing hide the sausage in this prision, our forces have moved on after being disgusted and apauled to conduct the mission(s). Likewise, a majority of the Nation's citiznes have also moved on to bigger and better things. Why hasn't the media and few Democratic Congressmen of the Republican-led Congress done the same? Because it's an election year and they want Kerry, duh!

Here's a good question: why did the country want to impeach Clinton for having extramarital sex and lying about it, but no impeachment preceedings are in place when Bush lies and starts a questionable war?

If the chimp in cheif had been playing by the "bookfull of war laws" you guys wouldn't have gone over there in the first place, we wouldn't be poisoning our troops and whats left of the cradle of civilization with DU dust, and we wouldn't be having any of these discussions.

The war is illegal, following illegal orders is illegal, but none of that matters because apparently all laws are antiquated after 9/11.

As a nation foolish enough to let the military/energy/prison industrial complex run our foreign policy- we deserve to be in a quagmire there, and like Dick and Don keep telling us, its going to get worse before it gets better.

as long as those bozos are not in jail- we can count on it

And another point- if any other country invaded and occupied us, you wouldn't be toasting them in the streets and cutting off heads?

I'd fully expect that you wouldn't hide behind a ski mask in doing so- I'm fully against this war, but in those circumstances I wouldn't hesitate.

The war was based on lies, and liars should not be left in positions of responsibility

btw, I may sound kind of irked... prolly cause I am watching a priest say how Reagon was a man full of only light and had no darkness. dangerous reverence to go to any one man

First off i'd like to thank you for taking a small fragment of what i said earlier and making me look like a biggot, which i'm not. They're of Arabic decent therefore they're a "bunch of Arabs", right? Just like we're a "bunch of Americans" so quit your meaningless PC whining.

dub2w, you need to study up a bit on what this country has done in the past. Does slavery ring a bell to you? those pieces of "black gold" from 1800-1865 have just turned over in their grave thanks to your jibberish. Not to mention all the Natives' land we took over.

I see your point based on the fact we've been a "world police power" in the last few decades. However, we are making leaps and bounds in Iraq contrary to what you hear on CNN on the town of Fallujah, a city loyal to Saddam that makes up a small fraction of Iraq. We didn't accomplish this by "raping, pillaging, and killing for fun" either so don't get your panties in a bunch and overexagerate.

first, the tone in your post seeped a condescending aura

second, in reference to raping and pillaging... that was directed to all of the gung-ho jackasses who think war is cool and pre-emptive strikes are kosher.

third, panties are comfortable. try silk ones. your nuts will thank you and you wont be so pissed off all of the time

I just don't want to see you pussies crying when the love we give is returned.
That's the whole problem.
You guys act all tough until the bullet is headed your way, remembering life...calling for yo mama. And only then do you reflect on the ways in which peace could have been made.
Come on, even miss America wants peace. Why dosen't the GOP? And they still haven't a nswered the question of what exactly we are doing in Iraq when we have a war to fight on terrorism. Op Iraq Freedom? As if we have nothing better to do.
