argh stupid miles

my STi's almost at 70k miles and I'm trying not to drive it very much so I don't hit it....

I need to buy a beater, anyone in the same boat?

I had to commute from the bay to sac for a while and it ate up miles sooo fast

Use the money from the beater and build a motor. Problem Solved!

I bought a 90 Acura Integra as a beater about a year and a half ago... in that time I've put about 8k on the sti and about three times that on the Acura. 1500$ investment on the beater has saved me a ton... 05 Sti with 36k miles.

yep. get a Civic hatch or Integra. Look for good deals on CL and you'll be able to find one for $2K in good condition

i would only want a beater as a second car so i can work on my wrx without worrying about having to finish every time i mod anything. but who would want to drive a beater when you have such a nice car? i say enjoy the car who cares about the miles

I have almost 70k on my 05, and it is depressing to see that many miles put on it. I bought the car with 24xxx on it and now its at 67k. Nothing but smiles for every mile i have driven. the car is made to be driven IMO
