but i only have dp and a borla hush.
and i have a bugeye.
so there should be no problem without AP, from what i have read.
but if i have a 04/05, then i know i need AP for management for sure.

so i am debating whether to keep it and run a stage 2 map without pro tune,
or sell it and get a PS3.

but after reading the posts,
i think i will try to get one and sell it, haha
the profit thing sounds really GOOD !

cool cool man, I was never meant to insinuate you shouldn't spend money on mods, but you mentioned "from what I have read". Bro, don't believe anything you read about this stuff. Even if your tuner or your mechanic tells you something, ask two other tuners and mechanics.

As for the engine management, you might as well put an MBC on for 20 dollars and turn that to 16psi, and you'll make pretty much the same power as an untuned map.

The only cars that NEED engine management for exhaust mods are those that run on speed density for intake metering (such as FD RX7 and most fuel injected motorcycles). WRX (as w/ most cars today) runs a MAF.

Just make sure you don't sell your AP and then can't find a PS2 anywhere.
