anyonw know who does Plastic Welding ?

I've been looking everywhere, cant find a place in the bay area that does it anymore. I have a polyethelene chair I would like to fix, the only way to do that is weld it. If anyone has knows a reputable place I would appreciate a referral.

thanks all.

How big is the chair? There is a good shop in socal as well I can recommend

If they can do TFM welding I imagine PE being doable as well

its large, and the cost of shipping + welding would make it not worthwhile. I would drive a good distance however to get it done.

this is the chair, in a diffrent color:

Paul at MotoJava (www.motojava.com) knows how to plastic weld. I sold my EX500 to MotoJava and I stopped by a few weeks later to ask about it, and Paul mentioned he did a bit of plastic welding on the fairing

not sure how much he would charge, or if he would even take the work, but it couldn't hurt to ask i suppose

I am very experienced in plastic welding. If you're interested you can stop by and I will do it for free. Takes about 5 minutes for my soldering iron to get up to temp, then it will weld plastic together like no other!! LOL
