i live in san ramon and i have the v600 with t mobile. havent had a problem with it yet. i lose reception in certain parts of the city like around windemere and also way up in the preserves in plesanton. all i got to say is that the coverage area was MUCH better than ATT. i hardly ever had reception with att, but some people said it was my phone...it was a panasonic gu87

I actually work for T-Mobile and I also use the v600. The phone itself is not bad at all. It's got Bluetooth, Speakerphone, camera, voicemail dialing and a whole lot more. Reception i would have to say could be a little better, the signal jumps up and down a lot. It could jus be my phone, service mainly depends on the coverage, however some phones do work better then others. Only way to find out if you'll really like it is if you try it out for yourself. T-Mobile does have a 30 day return exchange policy.

what is this I hear of "flexing/flashing" the firmware of the T-Mobile v600s to make them quadraband instead of tri-band?
