Holy thong... I've seen something like 20 today alone, including one that looked like a space ship (giant shopping kart wing on the back).

Up here in Marin, they are everywhere. But for the most part the people driving them are just ski bums and not car freeks like us. But i still give a wave or a peace sign to "almost" everyone. Many times it'll be a 70+ year old guy looking back at me like.."do i know you???"

 

same here. but i get the occasional nod. I've noticed not to many say hi in SF...or in the West Portal area anyway

 

What gets me is when thay are clearly a Mod/ car person and they ain't down with the i-club. Where the hell have these kids been. There are a few around here. Sure they may give you the "knod" or a slight wave but my car has a huge "bushido" across the front window and they don't know who the hell i am??? Mna we ned some advertising

 

I'm the complete opposite, people have no choice but to wave to me. I hang out my window and flail wildly, honking, flashing my lights and yelling at the top of my lungs to get peoples' attention. My friends are embarassed to ride in my car because I wave at every single Subaru that I see.
