I'm looking for a 6" pass through socket extension locally. Sears only has the 3". Is there anywhere local that sells the pass through sockets, either Gearwrench or Craftsman? Of course I can get it online but wanted it sooner rather than later and don't want to pay expedited shipping. K-119 doesn't carry pass through stuff.

 

Might check OSH since they carry Craftsman also, but that might be a tough item to find.

 

Buy two 3" extensions?

 

None of the Osh's I've been to has loose pass through sockets, just sets.

Two 3" extensions is my fall back plan.

Just seems like with all the gearheads in the Bay Area there must be some store with a huge selection of sockets. Sears selection of tools seems smaller everytime I go there.

 

Maybe Grainger?

 

Grainger is a possibily; you can check on the site. Or your local auto part shops sometimes have specialty tools - just not always craftsman, but if you only need it once, it might be OK. Harbor Freight too.
