I saw that also, i was swimming at my folks house in milpitas and just looked up as it was breaking apart. it was huge, and very bright. looked like a shooting star really close.

sounds like a meteor, none-the-less must have been an amazing sight

just last month i was camping with my friends at mt.Diablo and we were laying on the ground just looking at shooting stars.

all of a sudden a HUGE like like rice size shooting star went across the sky. it lasted almost 3 seconds, YES 3 seconds. it was THICK white line then POOM it became RED and disappeared. we screamed for about like whole 2 minutes.

i believe that will be the biggest shooting star i will ever see in my life. lol it was insane. it really went across the sky.

 

great america has been shooting off fireworks every friday night for a few weeks now.. i think u'd know what those look like though.

If they were aiming for Moffett Field I guess I am glad I was not at work the other night. I had work to do but decided I was going to be lazy and not go in.
