Anyone Racing this weekend?
Any iclubbers going to be at the SFRSCCA Solo2 event this weekend (morning of the 6th?).
I have a size medium helpmet if anyone wants to race but doesn't have a helmet (you do need a SCCA membership though). I'll be racing Novice class with the DS group.

Glad to see you are coming out on Sunday!!
As you mentioned, you will need an SCCA Membership card (a current one
) and a helmet. We do have loaner helmets available.
See you out there!
(your SFR Solo2 chief for this year = me, I am car #94 in STX, a silver 02 wrx wagon)

Awesome! I will seek you out then
.
I'll be in an 05 WRB WRX w/ STi wing.
Any advice on where to get magnetic number plates, and will shoepolish on the door cut it for a couple races for numbering?

I'm car 21 - blue WRX sedan. I'm not sure whether to run STX or DS this season. I may be swapping some stuff out this year ('cos I need new rotors and shocks) and I have Azenis' on the car at the moment, so STX might make more sense.

Lorry : come out and play in STX
For numbers, the magnetic ones are available HERE. We have temporary numbers (basically, 8x11 sheets with printed numbers and masking tape) you can use until you get permanent numbers. I would advise waiting until after Sunday for your magnetic numbers, because you want to order different ones than anyone else in your class.
You do NOT wanna use shoe-polish! It is hell on paint, and it is a lot of work to get it off of glass. If you do wanna do the glass anyways, then at least get glass chalk as it comes off a LOT easier than white shoe polish.
