Anyone need a roommate?
So, I got this from a friend of mine who used to be in a band with me when I lived in Oki. He's a pretty close friend of mine, I was in his wedding and his wife's family let me stay with them numerous times in Tokyo. He has a friend whose boyfriend is looking to move out here, but I guess his would be roommate decided to bail on him last minute so I got this on FB:
I don't know the guy, but I used to hang out with his girlfriend, Midori. She's about as mellow as they come, and she only likes mellow dudes, so I'm assuming this dude is also quite mellow. So if you know anyone who is sane who needs a roommate, lemme know.

How are things going out west? It's been a while since we've talked, but I hope that everything is going well in your life. Yasuko and I are really enjoying life here in Vermont, and hope that some day you'll have a chance to come visit us.
I thought of you yesterday when talking to Jon, Midori's boyfriend who currently lives close to us in Northampton, MA. He is trying to move to the bay area REALLY soon, but the person who he was setting up a living situation decided to rent their room to someone else earlier. So, I thought that I should contact you to see if you know anyone, who you trust, that is looking for a roommate. Would you happen to know anyone? He works for Whole Foods, and is able to transfer out there when he moves... it's just a matter of finding a place to stay.
Write back when you can! I hope that things are going well. Let us know if you're ever in New Enalgnd, or back out east visiting family. It'd be really good to see you again

I know of a place he can rent Solo in Napa, CA. It's 750/mo and includes water/garbage. My utility bill was as little as 30/mo at times. It was cheaper than most roommate situations and didn't share walls with anyone, had it's own offstreet parking. Was generally pretty awesome, but I moved in with my Girlfriend and it's vacant now.
The only downside is the whole being in Napa thing. I can hook them up if interested though.
