I'm going on a few day trip and I'm concerned about leaving the WRX in the long term parking at San Jose Airport.

Anyone do this frequently with their turbo-charged Subie?

 

I've never done so at SJ Airport...heck never even at any airport, but I've left my car somewhere for a while.

Just make sure you park it in a well-lit area that's not too far away off in the distance...and most importantly, make sure nothing valuable is left in sight and definitely remember to lock your car. ...you gotta hear that BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP sound!!! I have one of those steering column lock/bar and it gives me some piece-of-mind.

Done it before in the parents benz. No complaints, but I would try to park as close to the bus stop as possible

 

Ive parked my subie at SFO long term parking with no problems, hope the same for you

 

Parked mine for a week when I went to SEMA, nothing happened. Just park close to one of the bus stops to save your legs.

 

Parked at Sac airport for 7 days. No problems at all.

 

There is a long term lot on 4th Street that has locked inside storage.

dunno how far you are flying, but oakland airport is offering 72 hours free parking for people who are flying to socal

 

I have parked in SFO's long term parking several times for 4+ days with no problems. I've seen some pretty expensive cars parked out in the elements too. To reiterate what others have said... park as close to a bus stop as possible!

 

Just be baller and order a chauffeur.
