Anyone know a good shop in Redding?
just got my 05 WRX wagon and will be working in Redding for awhile.
Looking to get some upgraded equipment and will possibly need to have some of the more mechanical install work done, too. (won't have tools w/ me or workspace).
will start w/ some simple stuff, like tinting. Perhaps some suspension mods, etc.
Visit to Vishnu planned when in Bay Area.
Any shop recommendations in Redding?
thanks,
DrNorm

I don't live there, but I was just there yesterday.

HWY 299 to weaverville is an AWESOME road to drive, very smooth, perfect rally road. but the speed limit is 55 most of the way, so watch out for the CHP. I got a ticket on that highway in weaverville while driving my stock 04 wagon, they seem to think that because you drive a new car, you got a ton of cash so giving you a ticket is nothing for you.

I always notive lots of riced hondas when I go to redding, so they are either backyard mechanics, or there is a shop there some where. You might try local.google.com or the phone book and search for performance shops. Otherwise, just read up on the forums here and get parts from bay area vendors shipped.
