What do you mean by burn DVD's? You mean, making back ups of movies or just data backups onto DVD media?

dvdshrink to copy, nero to burn. If theres any kind of security, then usually dvddecrypter or anydvd take care of it.

i find that to be the easiest method to rip and burn.

dvd shrink > img file > nero express and you're done. If you have the new versions of dvdshrink you can burn without even having nero express.

I used to use shrink and nero w/ decrypter when necessary for awhile. trust me anydvd + clonedvd is better.

+1!

I love how i can delete all the preview stuff and automatically power off my system when done. I can kick off my backup before I go to bed and not having to stay up for it.

I usually finish a single backup in around 20-30 minutes...

Free lifetime updates and usually an update every week or two.

I use clonedvd as well, but I always seem to have a problem with the movies skipping at least once. I'm sure it's the media dvds I'm using, but it sucks having to burn them at 2x speed instead of 16x.

If I burn the discs at 16x, sometimes the movies will just freeze and not play at all. I started with Philips DVD-R and then moved to the Costco TDK DVD-R. Anybody else use TDK and has it skip on them?

Anybody know how to fix the skipping problem other than switching media discs? I know Verbatim is good but Costco had that buy one 100 pack get one free, couldn't resist

Also the movies are from Block3uster if that makes any difference
