anyone have Praxis suspension set-up in BAy Area?

I currently have tein flex w/ EDFC. Even at the softest setting it's too harsh for my fiance.

The praxis suspension is really my only hope to retain performance but have the cushy ride option, but I can't go that route until I know that the soft setting is soft enough.

I was hoping to check out a local w/ this system.

Anyone have any leads?

Is that your opinion based on how the suspension works? Because if IIRC, the suspension is self levelling no matter where you are...so you may come back to find your car parked with one wheel off the ground or some crap like that...

ok. let's not bash a product.

the product has some great pluses...

i think the main issue was that the lowering and rasing didn't correct the camber/toe.

this was up in sema 2 years ago?

just haven't caught on really.

did u find one on fire sale?

yeah, bashing a product without specifics ain't cool, but I do appreciate the feedback in general.

From what I've read (threads on NAsioc, manufacturer info), the main negative is the compromise in alignment. That self leveling issue is new to me. Any thoughts from actual owners supporting that?

But it's my only hope.

I can either go back to stock suspension with MAD body lean (i have the wagon...even after-market w/ anti-sway bars) or suffer the 1 billionth snide comment from my g/f about how harsh the ride is.

I don't have a deal in teh works or anything...I'm willing to pay full retail (at tirerack)...yes, that's how desperate I am.

I would never trade my coilovers.
My woman is down with my car.
Happy about that for sure!

From what I can remember one of the car mags tested it in it's infancy and stated that they had problems with the self leveling aspect. Namely if it was parked on a slope or one wheel was on a bump then the suspension would level out while it was parked and you'd be driving down the street lowrider style until the suspension reset itself.

It sounds like it would be a cool suspension, but I wonder if it will provide as much body control as coilovers will. I'd say to drive her car then if you need to go somewhere.

The suby will be our Tahoe car, mainly because of the AWD and the snow tires I plan on getting for it. So we can't plan on always having the other car option.

From the literature on it, it take like a few seconds to change settings, so I don; think that self leveling issue is that big of a deal.

So, no one on I-Club has or know anyone w/ Praxis?

dang.
