Anyone have Defi install instructions?
Hey Guys, I am trying to install my Defi Gauges but I dont have instrutions. They are going into the center pod. It's for an 02-03 WRX. The gauges are Boost, EGT, and Fuel Press.
Does anyone have instructions that can be scanned?
thanks

do you have the controller unit installed with power and the sensor wires?
Basicly you need to installt he control unit, then from there it has a gauge out u then wire all the gauges daisy chain style from that one output wire fromt he control unit.
Make sense? the only thing with power should be the control unit, not the gauges.

all the wires are there for an easy install. Once the clock is removed the 4 wires are there to be tapped. To see which wire is which look where the harness plugs in to the acual clock. The install of these gauges is pretty straight foward, just put in all the senders in the engine bay then run them into the car and hook them up to the control unit. Each defi gauge comes with a mini instruction booklet showing how to install each sender. If you dont have the booklet (bought the gauges used?) i have one that i can give you if you want to pick it up or maybe if im at uckk tommorow i can drop it off.

exactly, you guys. I dont know how to send power to it. I unpluged the clock, but I guess I need to tap into some of those wires...then to the guages to Daisy chain it.
Yes I got them used (Andy) and I dont have any instructions. It's almost there, as far as plugging into the control unit, just dont know where to go from there.
thanks guys

YOU GOT THEM FROM ANDY
lol i must have sent him 5 emails asking if he was ever selling his defi gauges and he said he was keeping them for when he moved to japan and got the evo. I finally ended up buying them new
damn and he gives hella good deals on parts. okay enough ranting hahaha. When you remove the clock harness the 4 wires there are the same 4 wires that you need to tap from the control unit and like i said before they are all labeled on the clock to make it easy so you dont have to keep guessing. Also you just plug in the senders into the control unit, they are all color coded and the connectors are different sizes so you cant plug them in the wrong slot. Once the senders are in you run the cable from the control unit to the first gauge, then another cable to the next gauge, and so on. Im sry if all that sounded confusing but once you start working its all pretty straight foward.

The online instructions are the same as the ones that come with the gauges. I tapped the power from the radio switched 12v so I could listen to the radio with the engine off and not have the control unit warning tone go off.
