wrx shortblock that came out running and doesnt have a ton of miles on it?

it ended up being a blown head gasket. so water filled the short block and made it unable to turn.. pos. now i dont know if i want re-hone/re-ring the 2.5 block or just return the car to stock 2.0.. such a headache

just a stock hybrid setup. my dumba** thought it would be ok to re-use a head gasket with only 800 miles on it. i was wrong and it went out on me.. now im looking to take it back to stock
