Anyone with a gc8 with a WRX motor swap?

Just wondering if anyone in the bay area that have a wrx motor swapped in... post pics please! very interested in doing the same for my friend's car, but wanna get an idea of how much work it would be

It seems like LIC has a great estimated time rundown on their page, should give you some idea. I would like to hear from people that have swaps and have had them for a while - if there are any issues or sideeffects. Mine's a GM6 though.

The GM6 is a older style Impreza 2.5RS coupe, unlike the GC8 which was never sold in the USA.

To clarify, I am asking people with a swap questions since I do not have a swap myself.

I have a 2001 OBS (GF4?) with an 05 engine, tranny, limited slip diffsfront and back, and interior courtesy of AEROSIM.

nice. ive gotten a lot of work done at AEROSIM and would recommend it to anyone moving or visiting socal. but for up here it looks like LIC is the place to go for swaps.

That's where I'm going if I ever wanted a swap. Best bang for the buck and you get the interior too! Swaps are too expensive up here, makes it worth the trip down there. :O
