anyone fought a ticket w/ written declaracation?
I got a ticket and the officer didn't even have his patrol number on the citation. I wasn't speeding and they couldn't prove car calibration.
I fought it with written declaration and lost... and they didn't even respond to my request for traffic school?! happen to anyone?
stupid legal system.

I'm 2 for 2 on speeding tix. I fought both with Trial by Written:
1 I actually beat the cop in court, and was found Not Guilty.
1 was Dissmissed due to lack of prosecution (cop didn't do his paperwork)
I used Ticket Assassins templates. $25 is nothing compared to the $300+ he's saved me.
I will be fighting my another speeding ticket in the next week. I hope I win again.

written declarations actually have pretty good odds since cops like getting paid to waste half the day showing up at the court but have no desire at all to sit around a write out a detailed recount of a ticket the handed out months ago. This also works best if you push it off as long as the court will let you so the cop has even less memory of the whole event

I find its best to push off the date as far as possible, then when the clerk wont let you push it off any longer go to the judge and see if you can extend through him, then before you have to apear for a trial request the declaration, then you ge another 60 days to get that one in, if all goes well you should be able to push it off for at least six months from the time you got the ticket, hopefully if you didnt get ticketed by a cop that likes to sit around and write out declarations you will also slipped his memory and his memory of the incident. Nothing is fool proof, but lack of prosecution is always your best bet of getting off a ticket

If you lose by written declaration, you can still request a trial in person. It's the only way you get two chances to win!
You need to request a court appearance asap. Go to the ticketassassin for tips. It works.
I've fought several by written declaration. Two were dismissed (lack of prosocution), and another I won in-court after the losing on the written part.
