Owning a phone isnt just about raw features and capabilities. Just like cars, other things come into play.. Face it if it was all about performance then you guys would all own Evo's
Probably find a few more if I actually started looking since these are in my direct family, and that's not including any server gear (a company I supported still has around 450 of the original 750 Dell 2450-6450 series and Hewlett-Compaqard DL series servers installed in 2002 plus another "low priority loadfarm" that is actually still running on dual PIII 550 HP LPr servers purchased in '99). So I guess that's "a lot" in regards to your question.
I also have a PowerMac G4 which I used to use more often until someone gave me a brand new Dell for my work machine. I would rather have a new PowerMac for sure, but cannot argue with a brand new lappy for free since it's actually pretty nice (used to hate Dells but this one seems to not really suck so far). It's also the only machine I have seen in a loooong time w/ a serial port so I was just out using CarCode to check ECU codes on a friend's WRX, something I cannot do with either my Mac or my IBM. There is no "perfect" or "right" computer but some people sure seem to think there is.
Apples are pretty, and the new billet PowerMacs are awesome. I started using Apples first and stuck with them till around '98 or so when my work took me away from them and it wasn't worth the expense to purchase one on my own, then I got my G4 in around 2006 I think. I won't lie, if I had the cash I would go right out and purchase a 15" MacBook Pro to replace my G4 and the Dell right now, but - I have loads of other things that list a higher priority in my life at the moment. The next time I am supporting anything close to another worldwide datacenter deployment though, you can bet I will be supporting it with a Mac which is hands-down a more capable machine for certain things like running multiple Win instances whilst connected to enough other devices that would make my Dell poo itself.

Iphone 3.0 is due today and is a free upgrade for iphones, 20 bucks for touch.
I've already used snow leopard while in development. It seems to be a worthy upgrade to the structure of leopard.
I have 3.0(gold master) jailbroken but not sim unlocked on my iphone3G. I also use the ininja theme.

It gets better battery life, faster camera refresh, an updated safari, better radio firmware, less bugs for sure.

All major apps running 64bit is enough to justify my $29, plus it frees up a small amount of space and a little performance increase.. I'll take it without complaint.
