As for my taxes, I have no clue yet because my daddy's accountant has not finished them yet. Knowing my dad though he will keep my refund, and deposit it in our joint account and call it my living expenses for the month. Yeah college is nice but I hate not having my own money.

E-File through H&R Block so you could go back and change stuff around to get the most $ back. The education credits kick a$$ and you don't need any proof! Not that you'd make anything up. I'm getting a little over $900 total from both Fed and State. AccessPort here I come! :banana:

I'm getting $1450 back. mostly cause of the Capital Losses i suffered a few years ago when the stock market tanked. of course, that all goes towards my auto insurance for next year.

Tax laws are what they are, but how you file can make a difference. My husband loves numbers, and he'll run the numbers for filing separately, joint, and plays with (all honest) deductions. You'd be surprised what a difference it can make. Last year one way we would have owed like $1000 and ended up getting back a few hundred.
